When I envision a bride planning these details of their day, I can't help but think of a book I read as a kid-"This is the dress I'll wear to the party" by Shirley Neitzel. If you haven't read it before, it's about this little girl that is going through all of her mother's things as she carefully chooses all of the things she needs to get ready for this party. Each thing she chooses is chosen to compliment the last thing she chose. Now, granted, the mom at the end says she can't wear all of her things and makes her go pick out something that's actually hers. But, you get the idea!
All that to say, these details deserve to be documented because of the significance they hold. These are the details of you and your groom-not just the overall details of the day. These are the super special ones.
The best thing you can do for your photographer is to have these things together on the wedding day. The majority of these will fit into a box. So, set the box beside your dress and veil. Put your maid of honor in charge of getting these to your photographer on the day of. Detail photos are ones that you'll love and enjoy looking at in your gallery.
