Angel & Zach


When I did Angel's senior photos a few years back, I had no idea that I would one day be doing her engagement sessions and her wedding!! It has been incredible to capture all different seasons of her life.  This is the type of relationship that photographer's dream about having with their clients!


The first time we met Zach, it was for a model call that I had  reached out to Angel about.  She is such a natural when it comes to being in front of the camera and  I knew she'd be down for photos and it was a chance to get some cute photos with her boyfriend!  Zach was just as easy going as Angel and these two just complimented each other in the best ways.  They had effortless chemistry, they were playful, and truly just adored each other.  I remember telling Trevor not long after their session that I could totally see these two getting married one day.  To no surprise, about a year later, I saw an engagement ring photo on Angel's facebook!!  It wasn't long before I got a text from Angel about doing her photos and the rest is history!


When two people are as in love and as fun as Angel and Zach, you just know their engagement session is going to be a blast. From the moment we met at Jeffrey Mansion to our grand finale at the Ohio Statehouse, it was all smiles, laughs, and a couple of adorable moments that I can’t wait to share with you.


Jeffrey Mansion-Part One

We kicked things off at the stunning Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley, a perfect blend of history and natural beauty. Angel & Zach were already in their element – playful, relaxed, and ready to enjoy every second of the shoot. These two just have that effortless chemistry. One moment, we were catching some sweet, candid shots of them walking hand-in-hand, and the next, Zach was making Angel laugh!

I love when couples let their personalities shine, and these two did not disappoint. Angel was absolutely glowing in her dress, and Zach's charm was in full effect as he kept things lighthearted. The grounds around the mansion provided the perfect backdrop—lush greenery,  flowers, and classic architecture that made each shot look like it came straight out of a storybook.

Ohio Statehouse-Part Two


Next stop: the iconic Ohio Statehouse in downtown Columbus. Talk about a change of pace! From the lush gardens of Jeffrey Mansion to the grand, marble halls of the Statehouse, we had the best of both worlds. The towering columns, stunning architecture, and historic charm of the Statehouse added a whole new layer of elegance to their session.


It was here that Angel and Zach’s chemistry took on a slightly more dramatic flair, as we captured some seriously romantic moments under the majestic columns. We played around with the lighting and angles, and let me tell you—these two were killing it. They didn’t miss a beat when it came to striking a pose or sharing a quiet, intimate moment between shots.


At the end of the day, Angel and Zach’s engagement sessions were the perfect blend of romance, fun, and laughter. Whether they were playfully posing or just being their goofy selves, it was clear that their connection runs deep. I truly believe that the best photos come from genuine moments, and these two are nothing short of genuine.
