Maternity Session at Inniswoods Metro Gardens



Spring is on its way, and what better way to celebrate the season of new beginnings than a maternity session full of love, laughter, and beautiful moments? I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Angie and Brandon at Inniswoods Metro Gardens in Westerville, OH, as they eagerly await the arrival of their baby this spring.

From the moment we started the session, it was clear how special this time is for Angie and Brandon. Their connection, full of genuine smiles and natural laughter, made every frame a joy to capture. There’s something about a couple in this season of life that radiates warmth and excitement. Angie and Brandon were no exception – their chemistry was undeniable, and it made for a truly beautiful session.

One of the standout moments of the day was the extremely loud windmill in the gardens. We all had a good laugh as the windmill spun wildly in the breeze, its noise adding a bit of unexpected charm to the session. Sometimes, it’s those little things that make a session memorable, and this certainly became one of those fun moments that we’ll all remember.


But what truly made this maternity session extra special were the thoughtful touches that Angie and Brandon brought along. In a beautiful tribute to their wedding day, Angie and Brandon wore jewelry and perfumes that they had also worn on their wedding day. Angie shared how scents have the incredible ability to bring back memories, and it was clear that she wanted to connect this precious moment to the memory of their wedding day for another keepsake memory. It was such a personal and meaningful addition to the session, reflecting the love and thoughtfulness that defines their relationship.


These small but significant details really highlighted the beauty of this time in their lives – a time of anticipation, joy, and reflection. It was evident that this is a chapter they want to cherish forever, and incorporating these special elements added a layer of depth and emotion to the photos.

As I wrapped up the session, I couldn’t help but feel so grateful for the opportunity to document this meaningful moment for Angie and Brandon. Their love, their thoughtfulness, and the excitement they’re feeling as they prepare for the arrival of their little one are all captured in these images, which I hope will continue to bring them joy for years to come.
