The Davis & Jones Family
As a photographer, there are certain families who come into your life and instantly feel like more than just clients. The Jones family is one of those special families, and I’ve had the privilege of capturing their memories since 2018. Each year, their yearly family photo session has been a joy, but this year was extra special, and it’s one that I’ll never forget.
Just three days before our annual photo session, I received a call from Kaylee with a surprise that would make this year’s photoshoot even more memorable. Kelsea’s boyfriend, Zach, was planning to propose during the session! Can you imagine the excitement I felt? The Jones family has been such a big part of my photography journey, and the chance to witness such a meaningful moment was absolutely priceless.
Over the years, I’ve watched this incredible family grow, celebrate milestones, and create lasting memories. What started as a professional relationship has truly blossomed into one of friendship. They’re not just clients to me – they’ve become extended family.
Proposal Time
As we went through the usual family photos, I couldn’t help but feel that familiar sense of joy and gratitude for being part of this journey with them. But as soon as we got to the part where Zach was planning to pop the question, my heart started racing! I knew she'd say yes but it's always the build up to the moment that gets me! The moment came, and it was just perfect! Zach dropped to one knee, Kelsea gasped in surprise, and tears of joy filled her eyes as she said yes. The family’s reaction was absolutely priceless – everyone was cheering, clapping, and hugging. It was a beautiful, intimate moment, and I felt so honored to be there to capture it all.
Now, if you know Kelsea, you know about Remi. Remi always gets a few photos done during family photos too! Naturally, the proposal wouldn't have been complete without some photos with Remi girl. It was so cute to see the bandanna that Kaylee and her mom got for Remi! It was the perfect addition for photos!
I’ve had the privilege of documenting everything from birthdays to family milestones, but this proposal was a truly unforgettable chapter in their story. I love that they’ve trusted me to be part of such significant moments in their lives, and I can’t wait to continue capturing their journey together.
With Kelsea and Zach’s wedding on the horizon, I am beyond excited to be there to document yet another milestone for this amazing family. I’m honored to be part of such an important day in their lives, and I can’t wait to capture the joy, love, and beauty of their wedding day.
